The Path to Permanent Hair Removal
Electrolysis permanently removes hair by disabling the follicle at its source. A fine, sterile probe is gently inserted into the natural opening of the follicle, where a controlled electrical current targets the cells responsible for growth. Once these cells are eliminated, the follicle can no longer produce hair.
Because each hair grows independently and cycles through different phases, follicles must be treated individually during their active growth stage. For this reason, a series of treatments is recommended to ensure every hair is addressed at the appropriate time. Once a follicle has been properly treated, the results are permanent.
The Electrolysis Advantage
Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized method for permanent hair removal and is effective across all skin tones and hair colors. Its precise, follicle-by-follicle approach makes it especially well suited for smaller or delicate areas, and an excellent option when laser treatment may not be ideal.

Your Electrolysis Journey
1
Book & Attend a Consultation
Begin with a personalized consultation to review your hair growth patterns, skin type, and treatment goals. During this visit, we’ll discuss your medical history, explain the electrolysis process, discuss expectations and answer any questions you have. Start by requesting a consultation.
2
Prepare for Your Treatment
Please arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, oils, or deodorant in the treatment area. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and exfoliation for several days prior to treatment, and discontinue active skincare products as instructed. Allow sufficient hair growth for treatment and review our pre-treatment guidelines to fully prepare.
3
Your Treatment Session
During treatment, a fine sterile probe is gently inserted into the hair follicle and delivers targeted energy to disable future growth. You may feel brief warmth or tingling sensations that lasts only a second. Because hairs are treated individually, the feeling is momentary and shifts from one follicle to the next. Sensitivity varies by area and from person to person. For added comfort, a topical numbing cream may be used prior to treatment.
4
Post Treatment Care
After treatment, mild redness or sensitivity is normal and typically fades quickly. To support healing, keep the area clean, use gentle skincare, avoid heat and sun exposure, and refrain from exfoliating for 24–48 hours. Please review our complete list of aftercare guidelines.
5
Ongoing Progress & Results
Electrolysis requires multiple sessions, as each hair must be treated individually during its active growth cycle. With consistency, treated follicles will no longer produce hair.
