FAQ--What to Expect?
How many treatments are needed?
Electrolysis is a process; it requires patience, time, and a series of treatments to achieve optimal results. The total number of electrolysis appointments that are needed to permanently remove hair from a specific area will differ from person to person. I recommend coming in for FREE electrolysis consultation so we can go over a treatment plan.
When will I begin to see results?
You will see a significant reduction in hair growth after 6 months of continuous treatment, results may vary person to person.
Is electrolysis painful?
Pain level will vary greatly person to person. Generally, electrolysis permanent hair removal is a fairly pain free process. However, for some the process can be slightly painful. I recommend that my clients use a topical numbing cream, like Numb Master, before they come in for an appointment.
Can electrolysis be used on all areas?
Yes, electrolysis can remove unwanted hair from all areas of the body, including: chest, face, bikini line, abdomen, toes, fingers, arms, back, nose, around the ears, and so on! In short, any area on the body can be treated safely with the exception of the inner areas of both the nose and ears (ear rims are okay).
What are the side effects of electrolysis?
After electrolysis, your skin will be slightly red, swollen, and irritated for a few hours following your electrolysis appointment.
